After suffering through the effects of IL-2 treatment, CT scans at Vanderbilt revealed that it did not work for me. I had growth on the rib lesion and kidney lesion. The lung lesion seems to have remained stable at 5 mm.
So what's next...Dr. Sosman suggested radiation for the rib lesion and the possibility of drug treatment. We briefly discussed Avastin but decided to treat the rib and go from there.
I contacted the Cyberknife center on Marietta and will meet with them about treatment.
